A Gulf man beats his son, and his ex-wife is demanding 51,000 dirhams in compensation

A Gulf woman filed a lawsuit in the Fujairah Civil Court, against her ex-husband, demanding a fine of 51,000 dirhams in compensation for the psychological, moral and physical damages inflicted on their son, as a result of his assault on the integrity of the son's body while she is incubating him.

She indicated that her ex-husband had the latest injuries described in the medical examination form, represented by abrasions and redness in both cheeks and the right upper arm, which prevented him from carrying out his personal work for a period not exceeding 20 days, as indicated in the investigations, and the reason for the assault was a quarrel between the victim and his sister, The case was restricted to the Fujairah Penal Court, with the accused imprisoned for a month and a fine of 1,100 dirhams. He appealed the verdict, and the Court of Appeal decided to cancel the imprisonment sentence.

She pointed out that she had suffered physical and psychological harm, represented by her ex-husband assaulting her son, bruising him, and causing him the damages and injuries described in the medical report, which incurred sums of money in prosecuting him in the criminal case, which made her file this lawsuit in order to judge her with her requests contained in her statement of claim. .

The court ruled in the presence of the appeal in form, and in the matter, to cancel the appealed judgment, and again decided not to accept the case, for filing it without any capacity, and obligated the appellant to pay expenses for the two levels of litigation, and an amount of 500 dirhams in exchange for attorneys’ fees.
