A call for witnesses was launched by the Departmental Directorate of Public Security on Monday, to shed light on a fatal accident that occurred on Friday on the departmental road D617.

, a 56-year-old man died riding his motorcycle between Perpignan and Canet-en-Roussillon (Pyrénées-Orientales).

He left the road at Bompas.

Emergency services were unable to resuscitate him.

Determine the exact location of the accident

The accident took place shortly after 1:15 p.m.

The 50-year-old was thrown over the guardrail, but the circumstances of the loss of control and his exact location remain unclear.
