The residential building with about 30 apartments on Östra Strand in Halmstad was completely destroyed.
Outside the house, a man was also found seriously injured by a sharp object.
He then died in hospital.
The police investigation is now complete and today the prosecutor Henrik Kindlund has filed a charge at Halmstad District Court against the 28-year-old man who is suspected of having started the fire.
The man is charged with murder and aggravated arson.
The trial is expected to take ten days and will begin on August 20.
Initially, two women were also arrested for participating in the act, but today they are completely written off from all suspicions.
