According to reports, the Peruvian Ministry of Health said that police officers and the elderly over 65 years old will be vaccinated with a third dose of the vaccine. It should be noted that the interval between the second and third doses of vaccine is 6 months.
The Ministry of Health pointed out that the third dose of vaccination for the elderly is gradually implemented, starting with those over 80 years old, and then to those over 70 years old, and so on.

Peru has already started vaccinating young people aged 12 to 17 with the new crown vaccine. The target population is 3.6 million.
Health Minister Hernando Ceballos announced last week that the Ministry of Health plans to gradually vaccinate all target populations with booster doses and is in intensive negotiations with Pfizer to obtain the new crown vaccine approved for children aged 5 to 11. Vaccinations for children aged 5 to 11 years may begin in January 2022.
As of 8 pm on November 7, Peru has received more than 36.44 million doses of the new crown vaccine, and more than 15.93 million people have been vaccinated with two doses of the new crown vaccine, accounting for 57% of Peru's immunization target population.
