Toulouse commemorated on Tuesday the deadly explosion of the AZF factory 20 years ago, once again, the tributes took place in dispersed order.

An official “memorial journey” has been inaugurated but there are still irreconcilable positions between victims' associations.

Twenty years ago, on September 21, 2001, more than 300 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored in a hangar at AZF's chemical complex exploded.

Five kilometers from the city center, the explosion left 31 dead and thousands injured.

Return on this disaster with the images of yesterday and today.
