After having struck the death blow to her partner, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, she called members of her family. They were the ones who alerted the emergency services and the police. When they arrived at the couple's home in Montauban, in Tarn-et-Garonne, the police could only note the death of the young woman, 30 years old.
The alleged stabbing author, aged 40, was still there. She was arrested and placed in police custody for "intentional homicide" on her partner, said the Montauban prosecution on Sunday.
The blow was carried to the level of the chest following an argument between the two women indicated the suspect. The investigation was entrusted to the police of the city of Ingres and the autopsy of the victim should take place this Sunday or Monday.
