This was announced during the meeting by District Judge William Alsap.

“The trial is being postponed until May 4, at 07:30 (17:30 Moscow time - RT ),” TASS quoted him as saying.

He specified that it will be the first Monday after the quarantine expires.

“The goal is to improve the healthcare environment enough to conduct a fair and public process with the participation of all parties, witnesses and juries,” the judge added.

The Nikulin trial has already been postponed twice because of the coronavirus pandemic. He was expected to resume on April 13th.

Evgeny Nikulin was arrested by the Czech police at the request of the FBI in October 2016. He is accused of illegally gaining access to data from the LinkedIn social network and Dropbox and Formspring servers.
