"The crews of the two strategic missile carriers Tu-160 during the flight tactical exercises of Long-Range Aviation completed a flight from the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug to the Saratov Region, having overcome more than 8 thousand kilometers," RIA Novosti reports.
As noted, the missile carriers flew over the Arctic Ocean, the East Siberian and Kara Seas.
The flight took place within the Russian borders. During the exercises, the crews refuel in the air.
On August 14, the Ministry of Defense announced that two Tu-160s during the planned flight tactical exercises made a flight to the Anadyr airfield in Chukotka.
