According to Anadolu, also during the one and a half hour meeting in the Istanbul district of Dolmabahçe, a discussion was held on November 13 of the visit of Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the United States and the need to expand cooperation between Turkey and the United States on an agreement on the establishment of a security zone in Syria.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced significant progress during the political settlement process in Syria, noting that "for the first time, a direct inter-Syrian dialogue was launched on issues related to the basic law of the SAR."
It also became known that a new meeting of the Syrian constitutional committee will be held in Geneva on November 25.
