Russian citizens were not affected by the earthquake in eastern Turkey. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press attaché of the Russian Embassy in Turkey, Irina Kasimova.
“According to preliminary data, there are no Russians among the victims. The embassy is monitoring the situation, ”she said.
Earlier in eastern Turkey, an earthquake of magnitude 6.8 occurred.
As a result of the incident, at least two people were injured.
