The Federal National Council (FNC) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has completed its contract after President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued a Federal Decree No. 122 for 2019 to form the members of the Federal National Council for the 17th legislative term.
The decree stipulated that the Federal National Council for the convening of the seventeenth legislative term shall be composed of 40 members representing all emirates, including 20 women, representing 50 percent of the total members. The Federal National Council was convened on Thursday, 14 November. The Federal National Council is composed of forty members, half of whom are elected and the other by appointment.

Saqr Ghobash Saeed Al Marri, Dr. Ali Rashid Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Dr. Hawa Saeed Salem Al-Dahham Al-Mansouri, Khalfan Rashid Khalfan Al-Naily Al-Shamsi, Suhail Nakhira Eidha Suhail Al-Afari, Moza Mohammed Saeed Hamro Al-Ameri and Mira Sultan Nasser Mohammed Al-Suwaidi.
Dubai
Osama Ahmed Abdullah Al Shafar, Hamad Ahmed Sultan Obaid Al Rahomi Al Muhairi, Jamila Ahmed Mohammed Bin Omair Al Muhairi, Sara Mohammed Amin Falaknaz, Dr. Tariq Humaid Mohammed Matar Al Tayer, Damar Humaid Abdullah Humaid Belhoul, Aisha Mohammed Saeed Al Mulla and Mariam Majid Khalfan Bin Thaniah.
