The FBI is requesting citizen collaboration to identify dozens of victims of Samuel Little, who has confessed to killing 93 people. For the FBI, Little's confession is credible, which makes him the greatest serial killer in the history of the United States.

Investigators who have questioned Little, 79, in the Los Angeles jail where he remains admitted have already confirmed 50 murders he committed between 1970 and 2005 and are now trying to confirm the remaining ones.

"Although he is already in jail, it is important for the FBI to try to do justice for each of the victims and close each case, " the criminal investigation agency reported through a statement released on its website, which includes drawings made by the guilty of the women he murdered.

Little has been in prison since 2012, when DNA tests linked him to three unsolved murders in the 1980s. 18 months ago he began to confess the other crimes to a Texas policeman who was interviewing him in his cell in the prison of Lancaster (California).

The majority of their victims were young, vulnerable women, many of them drug addicts or prostitutes , whose deaths did not always transcend or were even never classified as murders.

The FBI has also broadcast video recordings of the confessions of this serial killer. Little appears in front of the camera, dressed in the prisoner's blue uniform and a gray wool hat, giving details about the victims' appearance, and even smiling, as if he had fun remembering the crimes.

Little talks, for example, about how he killed a black woman in New Orleans in 1982. He says he met her at a bar, danced with her and then got into his car. Little drove to a river, pulled her out of the car, grabbed her by the legs, dragged her into the water and killed her, drowning her.

Next to the videos are sketches made by Little of the women he murdered, although the agency wanted to specify that not all descriptions will be reliable due to the advanced age of the culprit and the years since the murders.

Most of the crimes were committed in the south of the country, although one woman was killed in Ohio and another in Southern California.

It is still unclear if Little, in poor health, will face new accusations for the new confessions.
