CAIRO (Reuters) - The draw for the group stage of the African Champions League on Wednesday in Cairo resulted in exciting groups of Arab teams participating in the continental competition.

The draw was as follows:

Group A: Angola's first August, Zambia United Zambia, winner
Senegalese generals, Zamalek of Egypt, and Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Group B: Zimbabwe Platinum, Sudanese Crescent, Tunisian Coastal Star, Al Ahly of Egypt.

Group C: Angola's Petro Atlético, USM Alger, South Africa's Sun Downs and Morocco's Wydad Casablanca

Group D: JS Kabylie, Vita Club of the DRC, Raja Casablanca of Morocco, and Esperance of Tunisia

The leaders of the four groups and runners-up qualify for the quarter-finals of the two-leg match, which applies to the semi-finals, while the final will be held from one meeting at a neutral stadium.

The final seat in the group stage is still puzzled between Senegalese Foot and Senegal's Zamalek, after the African Football Confederation (CAF) decided on Tuesday to return the return leg in the round of 32 between the two teams, to be held on 24 October in Cairo.

Geniracion had refused to go to the Borg El Arab stadium for the return leg, which was scheduled for September 29, because of the transfer of the meeting from PetroSport to Borg Al Arab and postponed for 24 hours without convincing reasons, according to the officials of the Senegalese club.

The referee decided to calculate the result Zamalek 3-0 win and qualify for the group stage, before the suspension of the rise of the Egyptian team, and issued its competitions committee decision to re-play the second leg, note that the Senegalese team won 2-1 at home.
