“Within a week, the newest frigate of project 22350 Admiral Kasatonov will be released to work out the final stage of factory sea trials in designated ranges of the Baltic Sea. In September, the frigate will begin state tests, ”RIA quoted the news as the representative of the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Navy Department, Captain First Rank Igor Dygalo.
Earlier it became known that the Russian Navy in 2019 will replenish 15 ships and boats.
As noted in The National Interest, the Admiral Kasatonov with a displacement of 4.5 thousand tons and the unique anti-submarine and anti-torpedo system Package-NK played a significant role at the Navy parade in St. Petersburg.
