The Sol Metro station has been closed at 1:55 p.m. and all travelers have been evacuated after the suburban corridors began to fill with smoke. It is a preventive measure in the face of the possibility that someone could be intoxicated.
Metro operators are unaware of the reason why the smoke inside the station has been unleashed although it is suspected that it may be due to a problem in the Renfe section near kilometer zero . Other sources suggest that a ventilation problem has occurred .
A firefighter from the City Council of Madrid has moved to the area to check if there is any fire or the source of the smoke that has entered the station. The Samur toilets have also come on a preventive basis in case they had to attend to someone.
