The case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (the provision of services that do not meet the safety requirements for life and health of consumers, which entailed, through negligence, infliction of grievous bodily harm, as well as human death).
According to SK, the explosion occurred in an apartment on the ground floor of the house, as a result of which the wall collapsed from the first to the fourth floor.
Six residents were affected. Under the rubble was found the body of a local resident born in 1983. The body of the deceased will be sent for examination to establish the cause of death. Interrogation of witnesses and eyewitnesses of the incident is also ongoing.
On December 3, four floors of a residential building were destroyed in the village of Yakovlevo as a result of the clap of domestic gas.
The State Ministry of Emergency Situations announced the completion of the rescue operation at the emergency site.
