The singer Christophe, 74, was hospitalized and admitted to intensive care because of "respiratory failure" said Sunday his entourage to AFP, confirming information from the newspaper Le Parisien.
"In the current context, we are obviously worried. We are unable to confirm whether it tested positive for Covid-19," said Laurent Castanié, producer of shows. Le Parisien claims that the author of "Mots Bleus" has tested positive for the coronavirus.
The composer of "Aline" was "admitted Thursday evening to a Parisian hospital", explains Mr. Castanié. "From medical sources, his condition is currently stable and he is very well supervised and monitored by the medical staff," he continues.
"We ask everyone to respect their privacy and not to disturb the medical services of Paris hospitals, which are far too busy at the moment," he concluded.
