Japan, the host country of the Rugby World Cup (September 20 - November 2), has perfect preparation by winning the Pacific Nations Cup title acquired after his victory on Saturday 34-20 against the United States, future opponents Blues at the World.

Japanese captain Michael Leitch has scored two tries to guide his team to a wide-ranging success, which leaves Japan undefeated in three games in this competition, which is mainly preparing for the World Cup-2019.

"We have been together since February and all the work has paid off," said Leitch, for whom the Japanese team is "on the right track" for the World Cup.

The Japanese will challenge at the World Cup Ireland, Scotland, Russia and Samoa, while the American XV is placed in a very strong group with England, France, Argentina and Tonga.
