“The Rosselkhoznadzor notified colleagues that in the event of the re-identification of such objects in Vietnamese products, the service will be forced to introduce temporary restrictions on the supply of rice to Russia,” the ministry said.
It is noted that in three batches (470 tons) of Vietnamese rice, a quarantine object for the Eurasian Economic Union was identified - a polyphagous humpback fly.
Earlier it was reported that the Rosselkhoznadzor had detained at Vnukovo Airport a large shipment of insects - more than 20 million - that arrived from the UK.
