“According to weather forecasts of Roshydromet, from 14:30 to 21 hours on January 22 in Moscow snow, wet snow, deposition of wet snow on trees and wires, icy weather are expected,” the Moscow Emergencies Ministry said in a statement.
Rescuers advise drivers to reduce speed and increase distance. It is also recommended to park away from trees and weakly fortified structures.
Earlier, the traffic police warned motorists about the complication of traffic on the roads of Moscow due to snow and sleet.
