“15:30 (22:30 Moscow time) Secretary of State Pompeo meets with Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk at the State Department,” the department said.

In May 2017, Metropolitan Hilarion met with US Vice President Mike Pence on the sidelines of the World Summit for the Persecuted Christians.

According to him, the conversation was dedicated to the fight against terrorism.
