It is noted that the top ten ranking leaders for 2019 also included Tatarstan, Krasnodar Territory, Belgorod Region, Ugra, Leningrad Region, Kaliningrad Region, Voronezh Region.

The last places in the ranking are occupied by Tuva, Karachay-Cherkessia, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Altai Republic, Trans-Baikal Territory, Kurgan Region, Kalmykia, Ingushetia, Buryatia, North Ossetia.

However, it is specified that the quality of life in these regions has improved.

Earlier, the newspaper Izvestia reported that the specialists of the National Rating Agency (NRA) compiled an annual rating of investment attractiveness of the regions for 2019.

According to the data, the positions of 20 regions have significantly increased - including the Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Kursk, Astrakhan, Chelyabinsk, Vologda, Novgorod, Arkhangelsk, Ryazan, Tver, Kemerovo, Pskov and Ivanovo Regions, Perm, Kamchatka and Zabaykalsky Krais, the republics of Udmurtia, Chechnya and Mari El, as well as Sevastopol.
