Actor and businessman Mohamed Ali has re-broadcast videos criticizing the Egyptian regime and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, this time focusing on the issue of the Renaissance Dam, which is being built by Ethiopia, which threatens Egypt's share of water.

Ali, who had worked as a contractor with the Egyptian army for several years before finally starting to uncover corruption cases involving Sisi, his family and some army commanders, blamed Sisi for wasting Egypt's rights. He called for the terms of the agreement Sisi signed with the leaders of Ethiopia and Sudan on the Renaissance Dam in 2015.

The video came hours after Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly admitted to parliament that Egypt had entered the "water poverty" phase, according to all international figures.

Mohamed Ali called on pro-power media in Egypt to familiarize the Egyptian people with the details of the agreement of principles signed by Sisi, which many consider to have given Ethiopia a legal basis for the construction of the dam.

Ali added that the media should answer the questions that concern the Egyptian people, namely why and how Sisi made his decision to sign, and whether he consulted experts in water and irrigation or not?

The former army contractor said the Egyptians should be patient and not rush to overthrow Sisi, noting that it would take time and the developments of the past days since the September 20 demonstrations showed that the people had begun to regain power and that power was weak and frightened.

Mohamed Ali called on the Egyptians to demonstrate against Sisi at 6 pm on Thursday, to be on the roofs of houses after the closure of the doors well from below, and shouting slogans calling for the departure of Sisi, while avoiding to take to the streets only if it is safe to avoid friction with security forces.

After uncovering several incidents of corruption, Ali started calling on the Egyptians to demonstrate, which received a noticeable response on Friday 20 September, while the PA faced his call to demonstrate the following Friday with tight security measures and arrests of more than 2,000 citizens, including academics, activists and party leaders.

Three days ago, Mohamed Ali sent another video message to Egyptians, promising Sisi and the ministers of defense, interior, irrigation, housing and senior army leaders to be hanged after the removal of the military rule of the country, because of the crisis in the construction of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and the consequent lack of Egypt's share of Nile water.

He accused El-Sisi of misleading Egyptians over the Nile waters, and also accused him of responsibility for the spread of tyranny, rampant price rises and the destruction of the economy.
