“Starting from yesterday morning to the current moment, about 220 missiles were fired from the territory of the Gaza Strip through Israeli territory,” the report said.
It is noted that about 90% of the missiles were shot down by the Iron Dome air defense system, the trajectory of which was dangerous for civilians and residential buildings, at least 60% of the missiles fell in open areas.
Earlier, the Israeli army announced a new missile attack on the territory of the country from the Gaza Strip.
The deaths of seven people and 45 injured as a result of Israeli air strikes in the Gaza Strip were also reported.
