Answering the question about how the plans of supplying American LNG to Ukraine are progressing, he noted that “the situation, of course, has changed a little”.

“Shipments to (the region) of the Black Sea are quite complex now because of the activities around the Kerch Strait,” said Bruillett.

He added that he did not know whether the Black Sea region is a viable market for LNG. The deputy minister added that the United States "will be happy to study this."

Earlier, US Ambassador Georgette Mosbacher said that Poland would become the center of US re-export of gas in the region.
