It is noted that the minimum retail prices (MRC) for vodka from January 1, 2020 can increase from 215 to 230 rubles for 0.5 liters, for cognac - from 388 to 433 rubles for 0.5 liters, for brandy - from 307 to 315 rubles for 0.5 liters.

Earlier, the head of the tax and customs policy department of the Ministry of Finance of Russia Alexey Sazanov said that the agency plans to offer an increase in the minimum price for a 0.5 liter bottle of vodka from 215 to 230 rubles.

In February, Deputy Finance Minister Ilya Trunin did not rule out the possibility that minimum retail prices for weak alcohol could be introduced in Russia.
