“Unlike the poly-dimensional chain reaction (PCR) method, RNA amplification occurs at a constant temperature of the reaction mixture, as well as using more productive enzymes,” the report said.

The agency said that due to this, the study time was reduced from 90 minutes to 15-20 minutes.

Earlier, the head of the FMBA Veronika Skvortsova said that the agency developed chips for determining COVID-19 in 15-20 minutes.
