“From August 14, 2019, the refinancing rate is reduced from 10 to 9.5 percent per annum, the overnight loan rate - from 11.5 to 10.75 percent per annum, the overnight deposit rate - from 8.5 to 8.25 percent per annum” , - stated in a statement on the website of the Central Bank.

It is noted that the relevant decisions were taken by the board of the National Bank of Belarus following the results of the meeting on monetary policy on August 7, 2019.

At the end of July, the Central Bank of Russia lowered its key rate by 25 basis points, to 7.25% per annum.
