Before Axel Ottosson ended up in Karlstad 2018 he played for Björklöven. After one season and 44 SHL matches for FBK, the 23-year-old now chooses to leave the team for Linköping HC. The reason is that he needs more playing time.
- It's mixed emotions. I really enjoy the city and the gang in and around the team. At the same time, I have to play for my own part, and as the situation is in Färjestad right now, it will be difficult. I get an opportunity to make a change in Linköping and look forward to it, he says in the press release.
FBK Sports Manager Thomas Rhodin understands Ottosson's decision.
- He is young and needs playing time for his own development. Axel is a cannon guy and we wish him all the luck as he now travels further in his career, says Rhodin in the press release.
