Xinhua News Agency, Islamabad, February 28 (Reporter Tang Binhui): A train and bus collision occurred in the Sukkur region of Sindh province in southern Pakistan on the evening of the 28th, killing at least 15 people and injuring more than 30 others.

An official from the railway department of Sukkur told Xinhua News Agency that the passenger train collided with a long-distance bus when it reached a crossing on the Kondo section of the Rohri district that night. At the time of the accident, the train was traveling at a speed of 60 kilometers per hour, and huge momentum pushed the bus forward several hundred meters.

Local media quoted rescuers as saying that the death toll could rise further as some of the injured were seriously injured.
