The man was wanted internationally when he was arrested in Poland in early December. After being detained in Poland, he was extradited to Sweden this weekend.
The 48-year-old was arrested on Monday afternoon on probable cause for having murdered the 70-year-old in July along with a cousin who has been detained since September. Both are also suspected of seizing funds and attempting fraud, after taking the man's car and trying to withdraw money with his bank card.
Prosecution must be brought by 7 February.
