UN General Assembly Emergency Special Meeting Adopted by majority in favor of Russia's condemnation resolution

At an emergency special meeting of the UN General Assembly over Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, a resolution condemning Russia and calling for the immediate withdrawal of the military was adopted by a majority.

A total of 141 countries, including Europe, the United States and Japan, agreed with the resolution, further highlighting Russia's international isolation over the situation in Ukraine.



The vote was taken before 2:00 am on the 3rd of Japan time, with 141 countries in favor of Europe, the United States and Japan, and five countries including Russia, Belarus and North Korea in opposition, more than two-thirds. It was adopted with approval.



A total of 35 countries, including China and India, have abstained.

Ukrainian President Zelensky "Russian soldiers killed about 6000"

Ukrainian President Zelensky said in a new statement yesterday that "about 6,000 Russian soldiers have died in the six days since the Russian military invasion began."



He added, "What did Russia get at the cost? Rockets, bombs, tanks and no attack can rob Ukraine."



He also said that the TV tower in the center of the capital Kyiv was attacked by Russian troops on the 1st, and that the vicinity of the site is a place to commemorate the Jews killed by Nazi Germany during World War II. "The Russian army knows nothing about our history. It has killed the victims of the Holocaust again," he accused.
