Governor Lee Jae-myung, who appeared in the Gyeonggi state audit yesterday (18th), said that the provision for recovering excess profits from private operators in the process of developing Daejang-dong was not deleted, but did not accept additional suggestions. With this remark, there is also an argument that the People's Power can apply the charge of breach of trust.

Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung explained the provisions of the private sector's excess profits in the Daejang-dong development project as follows.

[Lee Jae-myung/Governor of Gyeonggi: I did not accept the suggestion of the front-line employee to add the excess profit clause rather than delete it, this is a fact.] It

is not clear who did not accept the suggestion, but the reason for such a result was his instruction picked up.

[Lee Jae-myung/Governor of Gyeonggi: Why didn't you make an excess profit clause? It happened because of Seongnam City's guidelines to secure fixed profits, so if you argue against it, it's not a violation of my instructions.]

However, the governor said this on the 12th.

[Lee Jae-myung/Governor of Gyeonggi (last 12 days): It is a case that can be called Gapjil, but since the profit is expected to be more than 180 billion won, I ordered (directed) to bear an additional 100 billion won, and added 110 billion won to the conditions of the authorization. It has been refunded.]

In the People's Power, there were criticisms that it was not a change of word, and in particular, regarding the 'recommendation of the excess profit return clause' not being accepted, lawmaker Park Soo-young and others argued that "they were evading the responsibility of giving more profits to Seongnam citizens and they were a breach of trust." has filed.

In addition, the Gyeongsilren demanded the introduction of a special prosecutor, claiming that the development of Daejang-dong was a project that resulted in unjustified profits of 1.6 trillion won to private companies by forcibly expropriating green belt land by public authorities.

However, in a post on social media immediately after the National Inspection, the governor continued his position as a 'People's Power Gate', saying, "I tried to prevent theft, but the people's power prevented the recovery of stolen goods, and only 70% of the items were recovered."
