Neusalza-Spremberg (dpa / sn) - Two workers fell while tree maintenance work in East Saxony and were seriously injured.
As the police announced on Sunday, the 52 and 53-year-old men had cut trees in Neusalza-Spremberg on Saturday.
To do this, they stood on the platform of a telehandler at a height of about eleven meters.
For an unexplained cause, the implement tipped to the side.
The two men fell.
They were taken to hospitals in rescue helicopters.
The criminal police have started investigations into how the accident at work could have come about.
