The Hessians lost their game against the previous bottom of the table MSV Duisburg with 1: 4 (0: 1) on Saturday and fell back to seventh place with 22 points.
Vincent Vermeij advanced to the MSV match winner with a three-pack (19th / 47th / 74th minute), for whom Ahmet Engin (77th) also scored.
Michael Guthörl (84th) scored the only goal for Wiesbaden, who disappointed in all respects.
