Dresden (dpa / sn) - The federal and state governments agree this Wednesday on how to proceed with the corona crisis.

Before the consultations between Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and the Prime Minister, there were signs of an extension of the lockdown, which had initially been agreed until February 14th.

However, there are already concrete plans among the federal states to gradually reopen daycare centers and schools from next week - for example in Saxony.

Education Minister Christian Piwarz announced on Tuesday that elementary schools and daycare centers with restricted regular operations would be reopened from February 15.

The principle of fixed groups and educators applies.

In addition, Saxony wants to enable the “Click & Collect” order and pick-up service from next week.

Economics Minister Martin Dulig (SPD) emphasized in the run-up to the Corona summit that there is an interest in going as uniform as possible nationwide.

There could be no one hundred percent agreement, however, because developments also differ from region to region.

The federal government has repeatedly called for a cautious approach and wants to lower the number of infections even further before easing.
