February 19, 2021: The young woman who was shot in the head by police last week during a protest against the military takeover in Myanmar died this morning. This is confirmed by his brother. Mya Thwet Thwet Khine was shot at during a demonstration in the capital Naypyitaw on 9 February.



She had been hospitalized but immediately the doctors had explained that there was no possibility of recovery. Video of the shooting portrayed her taking cover from water cannons and suddenly fell to the ground after a bullet penetrated through the motorcycle helmet she was wearing.
