Japan's 6.9 magnitude earthquake did not cause a major disaster within a week or another strong earthquake

　　Thousands of households received evacuation warnings. The tsunami warning was lifted at 7:30 p.m. local time, and the municipality also terminated evacuation measures.

　　Japan’s Nuclear Regulatory Commission stated that there have been no reports of abnormalities in nuclear facilities in the area, including the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, Onagawa Nuclear Power Plant, and various smaller facilities and experimental nuclear reactors.

　　A spokesman for Tokyo Electric Power Company, which is currently dismantling the Fukushima nuclear reactor, said the cooling system of the facility is operating normally.

　　The Japan Meteorological Agency held a press conference after the earthquake, calling for attention to earthquakes with a maximum intensity of about five in the next week in areas with strong shaking.
