February 18, 2021 In November 2020, compared to the same month of the previous year, there are 664,423 fewer jobs.
This is what emerges from the INPS data contained in the update of the Observatory on precarious work.
The balance for the first 11 months is negative for 295,696 positions.
In November, the INPS explains, the annualized balances of permanent employment (+161,000) and apprenticeship (+2,000) still remain positive, albeit continuing to decline.
However, the annualized balances of the various types of term contracts are still all negative, despite the attenuation of the contraction trend recorded since July for fixed-term and seasonal contracts, from August for supply contracts.
Stable employment relationships are on the rise, safeguarded by stopping layoffs, while temporary and seasonal ones collapse.
This is also what emerges from the INPS Observatory on precarious employment according to which in the first 11 months of 2020, compared to an overall negative change of 295,696 units, there were 243,769 more permanent employment relationships (stable hires plus transformations less terminations from contract stable).
Precarious contracts collapsed with a reduction compared to the first 11 months of 2019 of 263,902 fixed-term contracts, 121,913 seasonal contracts, 80,217 administration and 76,970 intermittent contracts.
