Because of the city (dpa / lsw) - After a fire in an apartment in an apartment building on Saturday night, two residents and two police officers were injured.
One of the two residents came to the hospital slightly injured, the police suffered slight smoke inhalation.
The building in Weil der Stadt (Böblingen district) had to be evacuated.
According to the police, the fire in the apartment was probably triggered by an improperly installed radiant heater.
The apartment is no longer habitable.
The damage to property is estimated at around 150,000 euros.
A total of 26 people were brought to safety.
