Kiel (dpa / lno) - Crèches, daycare centers and after-school care centers in other districts in Schleswig-Holstein are to offer restricted regular operations again from March 1.

Because of the corona infection there, the Flensburg facilities will remain in emergency care until March 7, as the Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday.

Emergency care will also apply in the coming week in neighboring communities in the Schleswig-Flensburg district.

In the rest of the Schleswig-Flensburg district, in the Pinneberg and Duchy of Lauenburg districts as well as in Lübeck, the daycare centers will switch to restricted regular operations on Monday for an initial week.

Parents can take advantage of this if one parent works in a job in the critical infrastructure or if both parents are employed and have no other care options for their children.

The daycare centers there are also open to single parents who work, as well as children with special protection needs or a high level of care and support.

Parents who are not allowed to bring their children to daycare can have the daycare fees reimbursed.

In the ten other districts and independent cities in the north, the crèches, daycare centers and after-school care centers have been back to regular operation under pandemic conditions since Monday.
