Winner of the last Coupe de France, Paris SG of Neymar and Kylian Mbappé will face in the round of 16 the winner of the L2 duel between Guingamp and Caen played in the previous round, according to the draw made on Thursday.

The draw allowed Thursday to know the table of the 8th round opposing the twenty Ligue 2 clubs on January 19 and 20, as well as that of the 32nd final where the qualified second division clubs join the Ligue 1 formations.

The winner of the Clermont-Grenoble shock will face Wissam Ben Yedder's AS Monaco.

Le Havre, led by Paul Le Guen, will host René Girard's Paris FC, with the hope of then challenging Lorient.

Bordeaux inherited from the winner of Toulouse-Niort.

For its entry into the 32nd final, PSG will therefore travel to Guingamp or Caen on February 9, 10 or 11, according to the schedule unveiled by the FFF.

Saint-Etienne, opponent of the Parisians in the final of the 2020 edition, will go to Nancy or Sochaux.

Olympique Lyonnais, current leader of L1, will have the advantage of receiving Châteauroux or AC Ajaccio.

Conversely, Olympique de Marseille will have to travel to Troyes, Premier of Ligue 2 at the time of the draw, or to Auxerre.

The draw gave rise to several oppositions between L1 teams: Angers-Rennes, Nîmes-Nice, Strasbourg-Montpellier, Nantes-Lens and Dijon-Lille.

The 104th edition of the Coupe de France is disrupted by the suspension of competitions in the amateur environment, in force since the end of October.

Faced with this unprecedented situation linked to Covid-19, the Federation has changed the format of the oldest football competition in France.

The Ligue 2 and Ligue 1 clubs will compete in a dedicated way before the round of 16, where the qualified teams must theoretically join them via the amateur route.
