Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - Today, Hessen wants to start the large vaccination campaign against the corona virus.
For this purpose, almost 10,000 vaccine doses are expected to be available initially.

First, residents and employees of retirement and nursing homes as well as employees in the Covid-19 intensive care units of the hospitals are vaccinated.
The federal government had announced further deliveries in the order of almost 100,000 cans in Hessen this year.
As soon as the vaccine is available in sufficient quantities and the majority of the people in the nursing homes and hospitals in the state are vaccinated, six central vaccination centers are expected to open in the next phase in Hesse in the next phase - in Kassel, Gießen, Fulda, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden and Darmstadt.
Then, among other things, employees of the emergency services and the outpatient care services as well as all people from the age of 80 who were not vaccinated in the old people's and nursing homes should have a turn.
