This is reported by TASS with reference to the interdepartmental commission for the prevention of the spread of coronavirus under the government of the country.
According to the commission, a total of 196,342 people recovered, over the past day, 590 recovered were registered.
The number of deaths of patients with COVID-19, according to the latest information, reached 2,756, an increase of 13 per day.
It is noted that the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan has been keeping statistics of those infected in a new way since August 1, 2020.
It separately includes both laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 and cases of pneumonia with a negative PCR test result, but with clinical and epidemiological signs of infection.
According to data as of February 28, 49,284 cases of such pneumonia were identified in the country, 622 people with this diagnosis died.
Doctor-immunologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences Nikolai Kryuchkov, in an interview with FAN, commented on the situation with the pandemic.
