The auction of the inventory of the bankrupt hospital MC Slotervaart has raised 1,500,274 euros. The receivers report this on Thursday.
The online auction started in March and was divided into eleven parts. In total, more than four thousand 'lots' were sold, including MRI scanners, operating tables and X-ray equipment.
The first auction, from the radiology department, yielded the most with around 500,000 euros.
"The medical equipment has been given a good destination at home and abroad," said curator Marlous de Groot.
