Sudan approves new government

Sudan's new Prime Minister Abdullah Hamduk has announced the composition of the updated government of the country, which includes 25 ministers. For the first time in the history of the Arab world, the head of the Foreign Ministry was appointed a woman - Asma Abdullah.


It is reported by RIA Novosti.

In late August, Hamduk, who had previously served as executive secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Africa, took the oath of office as Prime Minister of Sudan.

On August 17, the Sudanese military council and opposition coalition signed a transition agreement in the country.
