New Zealand police clarified the number of detainees in connection with the terrorist attack

Only three of the four detainees in Christchurch on Friday, March 15, are associated with a terrorist attack, the press service of the New Zealand police said.


According to the ministry, the 28-year-old man was charged with murder, tomorrow he will stand trial. The other two remain in custody.

Another person was arrested earlier today, but this is not related to these events, informed the police.

Previously reported the detention of four people, including a citizen of Australia.

On March 15, as a result of a double terrorist attack in the mosques of the city of Christchurch, at least 49 people died and about 50 were injured.
