A report of suspicion of highly pathogenic avian influenza was received on a farm in Sangju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and a temporary suspension order was issued.



Gyeongbuk, Chungnam, Chungbuk, and Sejong are issued for 48 hours from 9 p.m. yesterday (1st) to 9 p.m. tomorrow, and Gangwon is ordered to stop moving for 24 hours from 9 p.m. last night to 9 p.m. tonight.



The targets are poultry farms, livestock facilities, and livestock vehicles.



The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs consists of 34 manpower to check whether the order is fulfilled.



Violation of the suspension order may result in a punishment of up to one year in prison or a fine of up to 10 million won in accordance with the Animal Infectious Disease Prevention Act.
