▲ Tourists visiting Hamdeok Beach, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, on the afternoon of the 1st of Chuseok, are enjoying'Chucance'.

Even on Chuseok, many citizens refrained from visiting their hometowns and spent holidays in a calm atmosphere, but some tourist attractions such as Jeju were crowded.

The National Daejeon Prefectural Center and the National Yeongcheon National Bureau, which are crowded with vehicles and crowds on holiday days, were busy all day due to restrictions on access.

Bongan cemetery facilities nationwide such as Incheon Family Park, Busan Yeongnak Park, and Ulsan Sky Park were also completely closed, showing a quiet appearance.

There was also no event for a joint turnover of separated families in North Korea, which was held every holiday in Imjingak, Paju, Gyeonggi Province.

Outdoor natural sites such as lawns and arboretums were allowed to worship as long as they comply with social distancing, and visitors to the shrine continued to visit while wearing masks.

Some popular tourist destinations were crowded.

More than 10,000 visitors visited Seoraksan National Park, where autumn leaves began to color, and Jeju International Airport was also crowded with tourists.

Due to the good weather, many major beaches in Jeju Island such as Hamdeok, Woljeong, Hyeopjae, and Handam were also crowded, and some roads were congested.

It was difficult to keep'social distancing' while people flock to popular restaurants and cafes, drinking tea or eating food.

However, most tourist destinations except Seoraksan and Jeju have fewer people than usual.

In Hanok Village, a representative tourist destination in Jeonju, tourists enjoying the holidays were noticeable, but compared to previous years, there were not many people.

Ulsan Grand Park, which has been lively with folk games such as yutnori, tuho, topichigi, and hoopoe gulli, has also revealed that various folk games have been removed this Chuseok to keep social distance.
