Yesterday (20th), 70 confirmed cases of Corona 19 were added during the day, and the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 23,000.

For two days in a row following yesterday, the number of new confirmed cases remained at double digits, but health authorities repeatedly emphasized the practice of distancing, saying it is still too early to be relieved.

Of the 70 new confirmed cases that occurred one day yesterday, 55 cases in Korea were tentatively counted.

40 people were added in metropolitan areas such as Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon, and 15 people occurred in non-capital areas such as Busan, Gyeongnam and Daejeon.

There are 15 cases of foreign inflow.

The number of deaths related to Corona 19 increased by 2, and 385 people have died so far.

After yesterday, there were new double-digit confirmed cases today, and for the first time since the 13th of last month, there were fewer than 50 new confirmed cases in the metropolitan area.

However, health officials say it is still too early to be relieved.

In fact, over the past two weeks, the proportion of patients who were investigating the infection route reached 26.9%, and the rate of management in the quarantine network has also fallen below 80%.

Another risk factor is that large-scale population movements are scheduled a week ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

The quarantine authorities are expected to announce details of measures to strengthen distance during the Chuseok holiday this Friday.

Meanwhile, classes in the metropolitan area have resumed from today.

However, the number of attendance at school is limited to two-thirds of enrolled students in high school and one-third of enrolled students in kindergarten and elementary and junior high schools.
